The Review Local function allows users to review, verify, and confirm data changes made locally (when connect eXsync on Excel file) before synchronizing or submitting them to the main system (server). It acts as an intermediate validation step to ensure accuracy and integrity of local edits.

How to use the Review Local function

After upload file/new/edit/delete local data, follow these steps to review and verify your changes before reviewing server and synchronizing them with the main system.

Step 1: Prepare your environment

Ensure you are logged into the eXsync system.
Make sure your Excel file or working sheet is connected to related objects (e.g., eTask, eBug).
Open the data file where you have made local edits.

Step 2: Make local changes

Add or Update or Delete data in the table before reviewing.
Insert one or more new rows and enter required information.
Can add multiple new items at once if needed.

Step 3: Click “Review Local”

Click the Review Local button on right panel.
The system will scan the file to detect local changes, including:
- Added items
- Updated items
- Deleted items

Step 4: Review local changes

The list of detected local changes will be displayed.
Review the details carefully to confirm the accuracy of your data.
If you find incorrect information, return to the file and make corrections, then click Review Local again.

Step 5: Proceed with next actions

After confirming your data, continue with the following steps:
- Review Service data.
- Synchronize (Sync) data.
- Save Local to keep your changes temporarily for later processing.
