How to retrieve data from SharePoint Source

After completing the steps above, follow the instructions below to retrieve data from the source and display it in Excel.

Step 1: Connect to SharePoint Source:

  • Begin by ensuring you are logged in to the SharePoint Source from the login page.

Step 2: Select a List:

  • Select a list from the SharePoint source.

    • Custom List
    • Document List

Step 3: Select a View:

  • Select any available view from the List.

    • Default View
    • Custom View
    • Private View

Step 4: Select a Folder (Optional):

  • If you selected a Document List, you may choose a specific folder to retrieve its data.

  • This step is optional—if no folder is selected, the system will retrieve data based on the selected view.

Step 5: Retrieve and Display Data:

  • After finalizing your selections for List, View, and Folder (if applicable), click the Open button.

  • The data from the selected view or folder will be displayed in the Excel file, ensuring that the data is accurately retrieved and the connection is properly established.

How to retrieve data from Dataverse Source

After completing the steps to follow these steps to retrieve data from the source and display in Excel.

Step 1: Connect to Dataverse source:

  • Begin by ensuring you are logged into the Dataverse source from the login page.

Step 2: Select a Table:

  • Select a table that exists from Dataverse Source.

    • Standard Table
    • Activity Table
    • Elastic Table
    • Virtual Table

Step 3: Select a View:

  • Select any available view from the Table that.

    • Default View
    • Custom View

Step 4: Retrieve and Display Data:

  • Once you have finalized your selection of Table, View, click the "Open" button. This action will display the data from your selected View in the Excel file, ensuring the data is correctly retrieved and the connection is stable.
